I think what you wrote was very reasonable. However, consider this, what if you added a little information? I am not suggesting your information is not solid., but what if you added something to possibly grab people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda vanilla. You could look at Yahoo's home page and note how they write post headlines to grab viewers interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
